Former MP Walid Jumblatt wrote on the "X" platform: "After the repeated assaults on Lebanon by Israel, it seems that we have entered an open and long war that may last for months or more." He added: "Therefore, I advise as an observer to limit the conflict if possible to solving the outstanding border issues and adhering to Resolution 1701 and the ceasefire agreement to avoid any slip into the unknown."
