Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced that the Russian army launched a counterattack on the Krasny Liman axis over the past two days, advancing 1.5 kilometers deep and 2 kilometers along the front. Shoigu stated, "On the Krasny Liman axis, assault detachments from the 15th and 21st mechanized infantry battalions of the Central Group repelled an attack by a mechanized infantry company of the Ukrainian forces in the area of the town of Karamazynovka, and after destroying it, Russian units launched a counterattack, advancing 1.5 kilometers deep and 2 kilometers along the front."
The Russian Defense Minister explained that "since the beginning of the counteroffensive, losses for the Kyiv regime have exceeded 26,000 military personnel and 3,000 different weapon systems." He elaborated, "Among the 1,244 armored vehicles destroyed, there were 17 Leopard tanks, five French tanks, and 12 American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles," according to the "Russia Today" website.
