Egyptian player Mohamed Salah, star of English club Liverpool, shared a "story" on his personal Instagram account, directing an important message to all parents in Egypt. He published an image containing messages and advice on how to deal with children and raise them properly to ensure they are psychologically healthy.
He advised his followers on crucial social relationships concerning children and parents, or spouses, sharing a page from a book, stating: "No father or mother has the right to extend their hands and hit their child or assault them in any physical way." The messages also emphasized that no family member should touch their son or daughter in a shameful, suspicious, or boundary-crossing manner.
Among the messages, it was advised that parents should not prevent their children from going out or confine them at home for any reason. Regarding the future of children, Salah clearly emphasizes the freedom of children to choose their courses of study, without being directed towards a particular college, university, or even a specific career later on.
The messages stressed the importance of not exercising emotional blackmail over children, as well as a crucial reminder to husbands and wives to respect their partners and not physically assault them, or compel them to engage in sexual relations against their will.
