The head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, emphasized that "martyrdom is an act of faith in values that can only be understood by those who have experienced sincerity and devotion in their faith in God and commitment to the issues of the nation and its people." During a memorial ceremony for his son Abbas Mohammad Raad in the southern town of Jbaa, he added, "We hope that the blood of the martyrs of the resistance, which we cherish along with its path and its leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, will awaken this nation." He continued, "Reason tells us that it is time to work towards continuing the pursuit of the goal that the martyr and his fellow martyrs aspired to." He further stated, "Thanks to all the supporters, and we hope that the martyrdom of Siraj will be an opportunity for national unity to achieve security, safety, freedom, dignity, sovereignty, and strength for our country."
