A collision between two cars this morning on the western lane of Tabarja Highway resulted in 7 people sustaining various injuries. The Jounieh Civil Defense Center rushed to the scene and transported two injured individuals to Saint John Hospital in Jounieh, while providing first aid to a third injured person; the Red Cross assisted the others. The accident caused traffic congestion in the area, and personnel from the Jounieh Traffic Division worked to facilitate traffic flow and remove the two vehicles from the scene.
