Officials announced that "Russia carried out two airstrikes on a residential area in Kharkiv, northeastern Ukraine, today, Wednesday, resulting in at least one death and 12 injuries." Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov stated via Telegram: "A five-story building where people live was severely damaged," describing the attack as "another bloody terrorist act against Ukrainians." He added that "the emergency surgery facility was also damaged." Meanwhile, the regional governor Oleksiy Sinyehubov said that "among the injured are four children."
