The TASS news agency reported that Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova urged French President Emmanuel Macron to halt arms supplies to Ukraine. This came in response to Macron's call for a ceasefire in Ukraine during the Olympic Games taking place in his country from July 26 to August 11. Zakharova also stated that Macron should have proposed a ceasefire to the parties involved in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
