Arrest of a Syrian Wanted for Serious Crimes in Zahle

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement: "As part of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to track down individuals wanted by the judiciary and those disturbing public safety, information was gathered by the Bekaa Investigation Unit regarding the presence of one of the dangerous wanted individuals in the city of Zahle, known as: H. H. (born in 1987, Syrian nationality). Following surveillance and monitoring, a patrol from the unit was able to arrest him on the Zahle highway, where it was revealed that he is wanted by the judiciary for theft and forming a gang, and that his stay in Lebanese territory has expired. The arrested individual has been placed under the relevant authority to take the necessary legal actions against him in accordance with the directive of the competent judiciary."
