Minister of Industry in the caretaker government, Deputy George Bushkian, inaugurated the village dairy and cheese factory in Iyat - Baalbek, and toured the production, cooling, packaging, and storage sections. Bushkian expressed pride in the national food industry, which is growing and spreading across various provinces and cities in Lebanon, considering it a sign of prosperity and interest from investors in the industrial sector. He stated, "Industry provides job opportunities, especially in agricultural and rural areas that are considered sources of raw materials, where farmers and industrialists complement each other. What we see in the new factories is a source of pride and admiration for the commitment of industrialists to specifications, quality, and standards, which open up export markets for them."
