The Lebanese national football team continues its training at the Rashid Karamé Municipal Stadium in Tripoli, under the supervision of Montenegrin head coach Miodrag Radulović, in preparation for their international friendly match against the Jordanian national team at the same venue on Thursday, December 28. This match is part of the team's preparations for the AFC Asian Cup, which will be hosted in the Qatari capital, Doha, starting January 12, 2024. In the opening match, Lebanon will face the host nation and reigning champion, Qatar. After the northern training camp concludes, the team will head to Doha, where they will meet Saudi Arabia in a friendly on January 4, marking the countdown to the continental finals which the team is participating in for the third time, and the second consecutive time through the qualifiers, following the finals in the UAE in 2019, and after hosting the tournament version in 2000.
