In a devastating report, an Egyptian champion and world title holder in bodybuilding passed away due to a heart attack on Saturday evening. Ayman Magdy, the bodybuilding champion, took his last breath in a hospital in the city of Tanta, located in the Gharbia Governorate in northern Egypt. The deceased athlete was laid to rest after the evening prayer from the Al-Awar Mosque in the city in a grand funeral procession.
It was revealed that the athlete was in good health before suffering a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital for treatment, but he passed away upon arrival, and the doctors were unable to save him. According to local residents, the athlete experienced a severe spike in blood pressure leading to the heart attack. Meanwhile, Egyptian media reported that the heart attack may have been caused by an overdose of steroids and dietary supplements.
