The authorities of Donetsk city announced that 3 people were injured due to shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces on the city on Thursday evening. Mayor of Donetsk, Alexey Kolymzin, stated in a post on Telegram that "a Ukrainian shell hit an apartment in a 9-story residential building during the shelling of the Kirovsky district in southwestern Donetsk." He added that initial data indicates "3 civilian residents were wounded, and their personal information is being verified." Earlier, the Donetsk representation at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination in Donbas reported that "Ukrainian forces fired at least 40 shells of 155 mm caliber during the shelling of the city of Donetsk over the past day."
