Minister Klass Appoints Halaal as Acting Director General

Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. George Klass, appointed Ms. Fadia Halaal, Acting Head of the Office of the Ministry, as Acting Director General, following the previous Director General Zaid Khiyami's contract termination in December. Minister Klass called the heads of departments in the ministry to a meeting in his office where he explained the reasons for the appointment and its necessity at this stage, urging them to cooperate and work as a team. Additionally, Klass will sponsor the "Grand Easter Prize" event, organized at the invitation of former minister Michel Pharaon, President of the Association for the Protection and Improvement of the Arabian Horse Breed, which will feature a race in celebration of Easter for Western denominations at the Beirut horse racing track on Monday, April 1st.
