Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella opened the company's 2023 conference by showcasing the latest developments in the technology industry. In this context, Nadella introduced applications such as "Bing Chat", "Microsoft CoPilot", and "ChatGPT" as examples. He officially announced "Microsoft CoPilot", an AI-powered tool that will be integrated into various applications in Windows to help users maximize the potential of their devices.
Microsoft CoPilot can perform numerous services such as organizing files and windows, summarizing documents, and removing backgrounds in the Snipping Tool. Carmen Zlatev, Vice President of Corporate Management, explained that the tool will provide an overview across all your applications, websites, and devices. It is very much like Bing Chat for the entire Windows operating system, rather than merely using the search bar or browser to ask questions.
The next major update for Windows 11, 23H2, will be released on September 26 and will include many AI-driven features. This update will provide background blurring in the Photos app, as well as the ability to use layers and generative AI in the Paint application. Additionally, Microsoft 365 Chat will be able to utilize the files you upload to create items like blog posts, allowing a presentation or product brief to be turned into a blog post. CoPilot can also use add-ins to perform tasks such as matching your agenda with your colleagues' schedules.
