Milan Defeats Empoli 3-0 in Serie A

The visiting team doubled their lead when Giroud scored from a penalty in the 31st minute following a handball by Empoli's Youssef Maleh. Traore netted the third goal for Milan just two minutes before stoppage time from a counter-attack. Milan currently sits third in the league with 39 points, nine points behind leaders Inter Milan and four points behind second-placed Juventus, who will play later on Sunday. Empoli is in 19th place, second to last, with 13 points.
