UNICEF: Children in Gaza Facing Unimaginable Horrors

Ricardo Perez, spokesperson for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), stated that he "cannot find appropriate words to describe the atrocities the children of Gaza are facing due to famine," according to "Wafa." Perez called for "an end to the war to stop the nightmare that residents are living," emphasizing the "urgent need for an immediate ceasefire in the sector." He added: "Children are the most affected group by the catastrophe of famine and malnutrition in Gaza." UNICEF had previously stated in a report: "Gaza has become a graveyard for thousands of children. It is a living hell for everyone," explaining that "more than 80% of children in Gaza suffer from severe food insecurity."
