Title: Decision by the North Governor to Ban Firecrackers and Confiscate Unlicensed Sales

The Governor of North Lebanon, Judge Ramzi Nahra, issued a decision requesting the Commander of the Northern Region in the Internal Security Forces, Colonel Youssef Darwish, to "prevent the launch of firecrackers and confiscate the quantities sold in unlicensed shops." The decision states: "Due to the proliferation of firecracker launches in the Tripoli area, particularly in the inner neighborhoods, causing annoyance to citizens, harm and damage to individuals and private properties, as well as panic among residents. With reports indicating that firecrackers are being used by children, which may result in harm to them. Hence, it is necessary to ensure compliance and inform the relevant parties, and to preserve public health and safety, strictly prohibit the launch and sale of firecrackers and confiscate any quantities sold in unlicensed shops, sidewalks, and roads."
