According to the "National News Agency," heavy rains and flooding led to the collapse of a rock wall at a parking lot in the Kfarjouz area of Nabatiyeh, causing material damage to more than eight parked vehicles. Additionally, the heavy rains that started falling in the Danniyeh area since morning caused a rock and earthslide on the road leading from the town of Baqarsouna to the Jurd Marbeen area and the Bressa Dam in the upper Danniyeh, near the Qala'a area. This also resulted in the closure of the main road connecting Danniyeh and Hermel. Citizens trapped in their cars and trucks in the area called on the civil defense and municipal teams to help clear the rubble from the road and reopen it.
Moreover, a retaining wall at the Al-Abbasieh Official Secondary School in Tyre collapsed due to the rain, causing only material damages. Several municipalities in the Tyre district and several civil associations continued to clear roads blocked by stones and earth caused by the heavy rains, helping several homes that were inundated with water. Representative Inaam Azaldine, head of the Women's and Children's Parliamentary Committee, monitored the damage in the city. Azaldine confirmed that "work is underway for a temporary solution to reopen the roads, and a meeting will be held with all parties and official ministerial and local administrations to determine responsibilities and take appropriate measures to address recurring issues during rain based on available and possible resources."
