Hebrew media revealed that "the Israeli Air Force used 20 tons of ammunition in an attempt to assassinate Marwan Issa, a leader in the Qassam Brigades." It pointed out that locating him would not have been possible without information received by Israeli intelligence from sources very close to Hamas leadership.
