Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Announces Revocation of Licenses of Several Umrah Companies

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia announced today, Friday, the revocation of licenses for several Umrah companies. This decision was made as a result of shortcomings by these companies in fulfilling their commitments to Umrah pilgrims and their negligence in providing services. The ministry confirmed that legal actions will be taken against the companies, and they will be referred to the relevant authorities to address the violations and impose appropriate penalties. Due to the failures in some obligations and the negligence in service provision, the ministry has announced the revocation of licenses of several Umrah companies.

Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, had previously emphasized that the ministry prioritizes enhancing the experience of pilgrims and Umrah performers, and providing a conducive and comfortable environment that facilitates the performance of rituals with ease. He underscored the importance of expanding awareness partnerships to enhance the experience of pilgrims and ensure their comfort and safety. He noted that awareness plays a crucial role in improving services and procedures and raising the level of satisfaction among the guests of the Most Merciful.
