The "Flour Distributors' Gathering" in the south stated that "in recent days, some have been issuing statements and warnings that incite panic regarding a shortage of flour and a maritime blockade, alarming the Lebanese people in general and the southerners in particular about the discontinuation of flour and the blocking of ships, in attempts to exert pressure on the resistance environment and its people."
They confirmed that "these statements and intimidations are baseless, and just as in the past, the goal was to lift subsidies on flour for the benefit of some, and today they are calling for a tax exemption on imported flour for specific interests."
They emphasized that "up until now, flour is available, there are sufficient stocks, and ships are sailing to Lebanon; there is no need for all this psychological warfare and malicious rumors that serve only the Zionist enemy. God protect Lebanon and its people and their resistance."
