The Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" has revealed that the number of injuries within the Israeli army is significantly different from the figures announced by military spokesperson Daniel Hagari. The current figures from Hagari indicate 1,593 soldiers injured since the start of operations, while the newspaper disclosed the actual number sourced from hospitals:
- Barzilai Hospital (Be'er Sheva) treated 1,490 soldiers
- Asuta Hospital treated 178 soldiers
- Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv treated 148 soldiers
- Rambam Hospital in Haifa treated 188 soldiers
- Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem treated 209 soldiers
- Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem treated 139 soldiers
- Soroka Hospital in the south treated 1,000 soldiers
- Sheba Hospital in the south treated 500 soldiers
In total, there are 3,852 injured soldiers according to the data from the Israeli hospitals.
