Iran: Tehran Among the Top 20 Countries in the Global Economy

Iran's Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi noted that "Iranian citizens enjoy a good level of purchasing power, and Iran is now among the top 20 countries in terms of economic conditions." This was stated during a speech by Minister Vahidi to participants in the commemorative marches for the victory of the Islamic Revolution in the city of Karaj, west of Tehran, on Sunday. He affirmed that the enthusiastic participation of the Iranian people in these marches "shattered the enemy's illusions."
