Statement from the Minister of Education Regarding Schools in the South

Minister of Education and Higher Learning Abbas Halabi stated, "The closure of schools, secondary schools, institutes, and official and private technical schools continues in the southern border area." He pointed out the ongoing task assigned to the principals of the stated schools in the southern and Nabatieh governorates and in the Sidon district, to assess the situation in the surrounding area of their schools and decide whether to open or close them on a daily basis, in coordination with educational regions and relevant directorates in the ministry, as the most important thing is to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and parents.
