He added in a press conference that "one day after eliminating Hamas, Israel will apply the lessons learned to Hezbollah militants," without delving into further details regarding the operational aspects.
In related remarks, Hanegbi stated that "there is no agreement on the horizon regarding the release of hostages in Gaza while Israel continues its ground invasion of the territory." He confirmed that "the attacks launched by the armed Houthi group in Yemen against Israel are intolerable," but refrained from providing details when asked about a potential Israeli response.
Hanegbi mentioned that "Egyptian hospitals should serve as an alternative for treating the injured in the Gaza Strip, as hospitals there are under pressure and facing power outages." However, he indicated that Israel understands Egypt's concerns about the influx of Palestinian refugees into its territory. He highlighted that "the focus of the Israeli army is currently on fighting Hamas militants in northern Gaza," noting that "this focus will shift to the southern part of the strip at a later stage."
