The South China Morning Post reported today, Thursday, that Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang will visit Australia in June as the latest step towards improving relations between the two countries. Australia and China are rebuilding their relationship after it declined to its lowest point in 2020 following Canberra's call for an independent investigation into the origins of COVID-19. The newspaper quoted informed sources that the visit, scheduled for the third week of June, coincides with the lifting of a three-year unofficial ban on Australian live lobsters.
