Member of the Central Council of "Hezbollah," Sheikh Nabil Qaouq, affirmed that "any attack on civilians in the south will be met with severe retaliation, and we will not allow any aggression against any civilian in Lebanon to go unanswered." Qaouq stated, "Pressure has continued on 'Hezbollah' during the days of the ceasefire, aiming to prevent the resumption of hostilities, as they want Israel to wage war on Gaza without support from the south." He also noted that "the Israeli army has not achieved any of its declared or undeclared objectives of eliminating Hamas. On the 55th day, Hamas is launching rockets at Tel Aviv, while the enemy is incapable of decisive action in Gaza, or in the south, or of protecting the settlers, or securing ships in the Gulf and the Red Sea, and recovering hostages, which they were only able to do through negotiations."
