Israeli news channel "i24NEWS" reported from a security source that "the concrete infrastructure removed by the Lebanese army on Thursday, which extended beyond the Blue Line into Israeli territory, belongs to 'Hezbollah' and was intended to be used as an observation point." The source mentioned that "on Wednesday night, the Israeli army's surveillance detected the beginning of construction work near the Blue Line. From that moment, the army conducted continuous monitoring of the area and the infrastructure using various monitoring means." The source clarified that "the concrete infrastructure was originally meant by the party to serve as the foundation for a building." He added: "We removed the structure even before the building's construction began, which we believe was intended to be used as an observation point by 'Hezbollah'. We emphasize that the concrete infrastructure did not pose a threat to any Israeli citizen or town." The channel continued, "From the moment of identification and after a thorough inspection conducted by both UNIFIL and the Israeli army, it was found that the concrete infrastructure was established just a few meters from the Blue Line inside Israeli territory. After the inspection and confirmation of a violation of Resolution 1701, dialogue began with 'UNIFIL', and at its conclusion, the Lebanese army was prepared to remove the infrastructures. The removal operation was accompanied by engineering forces from the 91st Division, in addition to other security forces." The source stated, "All activities are conducted in full coordination with 'UNIFIL' forces and in their presence, aimed at implementing Resolution 1701 and preventing violations of Israel's sovereignty."
