The Ukrainian capital was subjected to what officials described as the largest Russian drone attack during the war, leading to the injury of five people. Residents awakened on Sunday to the sound of air defenses and explosions. The assault began with strikes in various areas of Kyiv in the early hours of Saturday, with more hits following as the sun rose. Air raid alerts lasted a total of six hours. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that during the week, Russia launched 911 attacks across the country, resulting in the death of 19 Ukrainians and injuring 84. He added in a post on Telegram: "The enemy has intensified its attacks, attempting to destroy Ukraine and Ukrainians. It is doing this deliberately, just as it did 90 years ago when Russia killed millions of our ancestors."
