The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency in Iraq announced today, Friday, the dismantling of a network involved in human organ trafficking in Diyala province. The agency stated that it "continues its specialized operations to eliminate human trafficking and organ trade, having detected information about a network engaged in human organ trafficking." It added that "an intelligence team was immediately formed for field monitoring and to validate the information, resulting in the arrest of all members of the network, composed of three suspects, after obtaining the necessary judicial approvals," confirming that "they have been referred to judicial authorities to receive their just punishment."
