The Qatar Football Association announced today, Saturday, that the captain of the "Al Annabi," Hassan Al Haydos, has decided to retire from international play after a remarkable career filled with contributions and achievements. The Qatari federation expressed its gratitude and appreciation to Hassan Al Haydos for his significant career with the national teams over the past 16 years.
Al Haydos, 33, joined the Qatari national team in 2008 and received the Best Young Player award from the local federation at that time. He participated in the Qatar 2022 World Cup and in four Asian Cup tournaments in 2011, 2015, 2019, and 2023.
