A tourist fell from a height of 20 meters while on a tour at Blencathra Mountain in the Sharp Edge mountain range and survived a near-death experience, according to the BBC. The unnamed tourist was traveling through the Lake District National Park in Cumbria when she decided to climb Blencathra. At one moment, she slipped off a steep slope and tumbled down. After falling from a height of approximately 20 meters, she managed to grab hold of some rocks. A fellow tourist noticed her and was able to reach her and provide first aid while also calling for rescue services. She was lowered from the mountain using ropes and transported by helicopter to the hospital. Her condition is now stable.
