The Israeli army announced that it is "training on multi-branch supply under fire as part of preparations for a ground maneuver on the northern front." It added in a statement: "Last week, an operational exercise was held that included providing logistical supplies by air and land, led by the Logistics and Technology Corps in cooperation with the Northern Command, the Air Force, and other units of the Ground Forces. During the exercise, the forces trained on transporting equipment, water, fuel, and types of ammunition during emergencies to the maneuvering troops engaged in combat on the northern front. The exercise included loading equipment carried by Air Force aircraft, unloading it, and transporting equipment using ground vehicles."
It continued: "Since the outbreak of the war, seven logistical supply operations have been carried out by the Air Supply Unit of the 'Hamarom' Brigade, during which approximately 110 tons of supplies were delivered to the maneuvering forces in Gaza. Additionally, thousands of other logistical operations have been completed on land using logistical convoys. The army is prepared to execute similar operations on the northern front as well, with high intensity and under fire if necessary."
On Friday, Israeli media revealed that Israel is preparing a plan for a possible ground operation in Lebanon amidst the ongoing military escalation with Hezbollah. Israeli Channel 13 reported that the army "is crafting a plan for a ground entry into Lebanon." It added that "as part of preparations for a potential war in the north, the army has tasked Brigadier General Moshe Tamir with the responsibility of preparing several potential plans for a ground operation in Lebanon at various levels."
