Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki demanded on Friday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky not "offend" Poles again, continuing his sharp tone towards Kyiv after the Polish president sought to ease a heated dispute over grain imports. Last week, Poland decided to extend a ban on imports of Ukrainian grain, impacting the relationship between Kyiv and its neighbor, which is viewed as one of Ukraine's strongest allies since the Russian invasion began in February last year. Zelensky angered neighboring countries when he stated at the United Nations General Assembly in New York that Kyiv was working to maintain land routes for grain export, but added that the "political theater" regarding grain imports only benefits Moscow. Morawiecki said, "I... want to tell President Zelensky never to offend the Poles again as he did recently during his speech at the United Nations."
