Title: Lebanese Army Intervenes After Iraqi Kidnapping in Beirut

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement today, Saturday: "After receiving information from the Intelligence Directorate about an individual kidnapping the Iraqi (M.G.) on January 31, 2024, in the city of Beirut, the Intelligence Directorate carried out a series of raid operations. As a result, on February 9, 2024, they managed to rescue the kidnapped person at the Lebanese-Syrian border and arrested three individuals involved in the kidnapping. An investigation has commenced with the arrested individuals under the supervision of the relevant judiciary, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining perpetrators."
