The Iraqi Interior Ministry announced today, Friday, the arrest of three suspects in possession of more than 1,000 Captagon pills in Babil Province. The ministry stated in a statement: "The security forces at the Hilla-Najaf checkpoint, affiliated with the Babil Police Command, succeeded in thwarting a drug trafficking scheme after apprehending three suspects with over 1,000 Captagon pills." It added that "the suspects, along with the seized drugs, have been handed over to the relevant authorities to take the necessary legal actions and transfer them to the judiciary to receive their just punishment."
