Army Commander General Joseph Aoun received Austrian Foreign Minister Alexander Schallenberg at his office in Yarze, accompanied by the Austrian Ambassador to Lebanon Rene Paul Amry. He also received the Chief Defense Advisor for the Middle East from the UK, Marshal Sammy Sampson, during a farewell visit where he introduced his successor, Admiral Ed Ahlgren. The discussions focused on the general situation in Lebanon and the region.
