Title: Molawi's Office Responds to Adwan: No Security Personnel Accompanying Riyad Salameh

The office of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Bassam Molawi, responded to the inquiry posed by MP Georges Adwan to the minister during the public budget discussion session yesterday, in which he "requested clarification regarding the security personnel surrounding Riyad Salameh who have not been able to arrest him so far." It was clarified that "after communication between Minister Molawi and the General Director of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman, it was confirmed that no personnel from the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces are accompanying Salameh at all." It was also noted that "the case of Salameh and his arrest is in the hands of the Lebanese judiciary."
