The Government Media Office in Gaza announced that "more than 70 martyrs and 250 injured in a terrifying massacre in southwestern Gaza," stating that "the occupation committed this horrific massacre with premeditation as part of the genocide against the residents of the sector." It noted that "the occupation was aware of the arrival of the victims to the area to receive aid but killed them in cold blood."
