Qatar: We Are Not Close to a Ceasefire Agreement in Gaza

Qatar confirmed today, Tuesday, that Israel and Hamas "are not close to an agreement" regarding a truce in the ongoing war between them, which has been taking place since October 7 in besieged Gaza. After weeks of negotiations between the conflicting parties mediated by Qatar, Egypt, and the United States regarding a ceasefire and prisoner exchange, the month of Ramadan began yesterday, Monday, amid ongoing shelling and airstrikes amidst a worsening humanitarian crisis in the besieged territory.
