Iraq Denies Arrest of Officers from the First Military College

The Iraqi Ministry of Defense denied today, Tuesday, the arrest of officers from within the First Military College. A statement from the Military Intelligence Directorate in the ministry indicated that "the reports circulated by some media agencies, press outlets, and social media regarding the arrest of a group of officers from inside the First Military College are untrue." The ministry confirmed that "its official website and pages on social media are the only official sources for conveying news related to the ministry and its affiliated directorates."
