Timur Jumblatt and Karamé Emphasize the Necessity of Electing a President for the Republic Quickly

The head of the "Progressive Socialist Party," Deputy Timur Jumblatt, during his meeting with Deputy Faisal Karamé at Clemenceau, emphasized the necessity of electing a president for the republic as soon as possible, while insisting on the implementation of the Taif Agreement and its related measures. They reviewed the general situation and the latest political developments.

Additionally, Jumblatt received the UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Lebanon, Imran Riza, in the presence of Deputy Faisal Al-Sayegh, the party's Secretary-General Dafer Nasser, and Jumblatt’s advisor Hasan Harb, where they discussed general issues and current developments.

Jumblatt also welcomed a delegation from the "National Balance" meeting, which included: Mr. Salah Salam, engineer Mazen Sharabji, Mr. Abdullah Abdullah, Dr. Ayman Majdoub, engineer Jihad Al-Sha'ar, engineer Ramez Baidoun, engineer Ahmad Al-Sha'ar, lawyer Ahmad Al-Jamal, and lawyer Saeb Matraji, in the presence of Deputy Al-Sayegh, Nasser, and Harb, where they discussed various political developments.

Furthermore, in Clemenceau, the Austrian Ambassador to Lebanon, Rene Paul Amer, attended along with Deputy Party Chairman Zahir Raad, Nasser, and Harb, where they reviewed the overall situation and general developments.
