Dubai, United Arab Emirates, welcomed the new year 2024 at midnight on Sunday to Monday with celebrations and stunning fireworks at various iconic locations. The Dubai Media Office shared a video of the New Year celebrations in Dubai and the illumination of the Burj Khalifa along with other landmarks on its "X" account.
The Dubai Media Office also stated that Global Village in Dubai celebrated New Year's events with seven fantastic fireworks displays at different times. Earlier, the Dubai Media Office mentioned, "Dubai, as always, is preparing to dazzle the world again with New Year celebrations in the city."
Additionally, the media office published images of the Dubai Police Chief monitoring the efforts of teams and celebration sites to ensure the comfort and safety of all New Year celebration visitors in Dubai. The office indicated that a team of about 6,000 security personnel and 1,328 patrols were assigned to cover and secure 32 fireworks locations in Dubai.
Simultaneously, the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi hosted an hour-long fireworks and drone show, featuring over 5,000 drones flying over Al Wathba.
