Israeli broadcasting authority reported from informed sources that Israel has notified mediators that it wishes to return to a one-day ceasefire. It continued: "Israel wants a one-day ceasefire in exchange for the release of women and children held in Gaza." It noted that "the likelihood of a return to ceasefire tonight is slim, and there is a possibility of an agreement within two to four days."
