Reports surfaced on Friday morning indicating that Real Madrid is closely monitoring the situation of a Liverpool star. Trent Alexander-Arnold's contract with Liverpool ends in June 2025, and so far, there have been no negotiations to extend it. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid is among the major European clubs keeping an eye on Alexander-Arnold's status.
In addition to the absence of negotiations for a new contract, the departure of coach Jürgen Klopp at the end of the current season and changes in the leadership at Liverpool have led major European clubs to believe that they could sign Arnold this summer. Romano added that Alexander-Arnold’s value has increased in recent years due to his ability to play in multiple positions on the field. He noted, however, that Liverpool has shown no desire to sell the player at this stage, despite the unprecedented contractual situation.
