The spokesperson for the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, announced today, Tuesday, that the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, will arrive in Moscow tomorrow for a two-day visit, during which he will hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Peskov mentioned last week that the leaders will discuss Lukashenko's call for an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine during their upcoming meeting. The Kremlin stated that Putin and Lukashenko will hold discussions on "key bilateral and international issues" on April 5th, ahead of a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State on April 6th. Additionally, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu noted that Russia will enhance the nuclear capabilities of Belarus in response to Finland's accession to NATO.
