The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in the caretaker government, Abdullah Bou Habib, is discussing the anticipated visit of French Foreign Minister Stéphane Ségurigné to Beirut with French Ambassador Hervé Magro. This comes alongside talks about intensifying meetings of the international quintet regarding the election of a president for the republic, as part of a comprehensive framework that includes calming the situation in the south and working on indirect negotiations with the Israelis to clarify maritime boundaries. Sources informed "Al-Markaziah" that Lebanon is in the process of finalizing its official response to the French proposal, which was received by Prime Minister Najib Mikati last month.
