What Does the Scene Look Like to the South?

Sirens sounded this morning in the area of Metula, the Hula Valley, Shebaa Farms, and the village of Ghajar along the Israeli-Lebanese border. The Israeli army intensified its shelling at night, launching waves of attacks on Mount Labounah and the outskirts of the town of Naqura, with explosion sounds heard in the city of Tyre. UNIFIL forces also activated sirens coinciding with the Israeli bombardment. Israeli warplanes bombed the outskirts of the town of Aita ech-Chaab shortly after midnight, causing significant damage, noting that Aita ech-Chaab is one of the towns that suffered a high percentage of destruction to homes and properties. The Israeli army continued to fire flares over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line at night, in addition to incendiary bombs on the forests adjacent to the Blue Line opposite the towns of Naqura and Alma ash-Shab, while reconnaissance aircraft intensified their flights over the districts of Tyre and Bint Jbeil.
