Blinken: America Needs a Clear, Implementable Plan for Rafah

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated today that "the United States needs to see a clear, implementable plan for Rafah that involves keeping civilians out of harm's way." These remarks came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office announced that he had approved plans for a military operation in Rafah. Blinken added to reporters in Austria that "the United States has not yet been briefed on the military operation plan in the city of Rafah, which is located in southern Gaza and is home to over a million people."
