According to the agency, the reasons for the financial losses include rising inflation, tightening of central bank policies, the military operation in Ukraine, and the resulting economic sanctions. Elon Musk's losses were also affected by his actions related to the acquisition and management of Twitter. Notably, Forbes estimated global billionaire losses in 2022 at around $2 trillion.
